The town contains a village also named Orchard Park as well as several hamlets. Erie Community College’s south campus is here, shared with the town of Hamburg. Orchard Park is the home of Chestnut Ridge Park and Eternal Flame Falls, a waterfall whose grotto emits natural gas that can be lit to produce a small flame. The towns holds popular annual festivals like Quaker Days and the Quaker Arts Festival.
Local Museums/Landmarks
The Orchard Park Historical Society from a circa-1870 building called the Jolls House. Dr. Willard Jolls was a country doctor, and the museum includes his waiting room, examining room and medicine room, as well as his medical equipment. The museum, on the National Register of Historic Places, also contains Native American artifacts, dolls, military uniforms and more. Also on the National Register is the Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh Railway Station. Orchard Park is also home to Eckl’s, a longtime restaurant known for beef on kimmelweck sandwiches, a native delicacy.
