Officials tout Eden as a place with “rippling waterfalls, vast mountain views, serene open space and a touch of adventure.” Eden is noted for outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, picnicking, golfing and fishing. Graycliff Estate, designed by noted architect Frank Lloyd Wright, is only seven miles northwest of Eden.
Local Museums/Landmarks
TThe Asa Warren House on Main Street, built in 1815 by Col. Asa Warren, a veteran of the War of 1812, was a stop on the Underground Railroad for fleeing slaves. Croop Mill is an historic lumber mill and grist mill built in the early 1800s. The American Kazoo Company has a museum depicting the company’s history as well as a demonstration of how kazoos are made. Graycliff Estate, built by Frank Lloyd Wright, is a popular tourist destination in nearby Derby.
