Overview

Concord is a town on the southern edge of Erie County, bordered to the north by the towns of Boston and Colden, to the east by Sardinia, to the south by Cattaraugus Creek and Cattaraugus County, and to the west by the towns of Collins and North Collins.


Essentials

For grocery shopping, there’s a Tops Friendly Markets store on Route 219 in Springville. The closest Wegmans supermarket is on McKinley Boulevard in Blasdell, about 25 miles northeast. 



Recreation & Entertainment

Kissing Bridge, a popular ski resort, is in the northeast part of Concord. The Springville Center for the Arts produces theater shows, gallery exhibits and workshops. Springville holds an annual Oktoberfest in September. Sprague Brook County Park has facilities for camping, fishing, and sports, as well as trails for hiking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.



Transportation & Traffic

Route 219, heading north-south, passes through the middle of town. Route 240 passes along the eastern side. Route 39, heading east-west, passes through town.



Pros & Cons

Springville is a quaint village with a lot to offer. Concord is a wide-open town with plenty of space for outdoor activities like hunting, fishing and camping. Kissing Bridge Ski Resort is a popular attraction in the winter. Springville is a major business location in the region. The village has a hospital that serves the region.
